Cosmetic Dermatology
Scientific and individualised treatment to keep your skin looking healthy.
As experts in skin, our dermatologists can provide you with scientific and individualised treatment to keep your skin looking healthy. Anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers administered by our highly trained dermatologists will keep you looking young and fresh!
Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used to reduce dynamic rhytides (moving wrinkles). These are found commonly around the corners of the eyes, forehead and frown lines. These injections can be customised to a patients desire to minimise permanent lines but also maintain a degree of “natural” facial movement. This is our most popular cosmetic procedure performed. Anti-wrinkle injections may be combined with cosmetic laser or dermal fillers for optimal cosmetic outcome.
Fillers are used to give volume to areas of the face where it may be lacking such as cheeks, lips and fixed deep lines. Our dermatologists use a range of hyaluronic acid fillers which have different textures, feel and duration of action. They are trained to choose the correct filler for your cosmetic situation. Sometimes to achieve the best effect, a combination of filler types together with anti-wrinkle injections may be suggested.
Chemical peels are used in the treatment of acne, rosacea, xanthelasma, photoaging and rejuvenation. They may be used in combination with medical therapy. All peels are prescribed by our dermatologists depending on your medical or cosmetic indication and administered by the specially trained Dermatology nurses. The chemical peels used at Green Square Dermatology are medical grade so patients will experience a small amount of downtime afterwards.
Facial pigmentation can be the result of a variety of underlying medical conditions which must not be overlooked and be properly diagnosed. Your dermatologist will chose the best treatment for the cause of your pigmentation. Treatments for facial pigmentation may include medication, laser and chemical peels and the importance of strict sun protection should not be overlooked.
